This evening, I took a pic of the lizards caught at the back of our house...

And when i planned to upload it into my blog, i saw a msg sent by Ping through my FaceBook.

And i saw this...

Scary sh*t!

And this cake was baked by a famous cake shop in Miri, The Hot Cross Bun shop (located in Pelita Commercial Centre). They're famous for their wide cake designs and decorations.
Well, 90% of our family birthday cakes came from there .. -_-"""
(and i always have this habit of requesting a custom made cake for my bf n my birthday cake there..)

This year birthday cakes is definitely gonna be other cake shop.. hmmm..
I'm thinking of Secret Recipe..much much yummier altho kinda expensive :)

LBK- Little Black Kitty

It seems that our home feeds lot of kind of animal.

This stray little kitten had been visiting us since few months ago. LBK (Little Black Kitty) comes everyday during daytime for lunch.

Mum loves this cat just because he never goes into the kitchen and house, doing his own things, independent, and only come to eat. "That kitten is much easy to take care" she said while watching me brushing the Guinea Pigs cage T__T

Since we've been away for vacation since Wednesday, i kinda worried that LBK might left us(stray's behavior for not staying long on one place) but yesterday (Monday), he did came by and mum treated him with 2 helpings of chicken. Bet he must've been missing mum's cooking. :D

p/S: i dont know the gender as LBK never allow me petted him. I just assume its a male since he's not very manja.

Btw, I forgot to snap the pics of my Myvi hood being 'makeup'.
Mom and uncle do these by themselves.
Material used: 2 can spray (Black and Clear), 1 wax kit, few sand papers.
Cost: Less than RM 50.00 (as quoted by Mum.lol)
Not bad eh? save me RM 900 to get a new hood or RM 500 to get it repainted! :)
For those who dont know what happen to my Myvi hood, it was a really long story. Just say the hood's paint got faded and it looks like 'kurap'. T_T

Ular Nabau

Have you ever heard this story?

Nabau, according to the Iban legend, is an ancient sea serpent. It is also said to be a mythical creature which can tansform itself into a lot of animals. I’d like to think of it as the Iban language for anacconda.

Recently there was a sighting of Nabau cruising along the Baleh River in the Kapit Division in Sarawak. On 31 January 2009, a member of the disaster relief committee Sibu was monitoring the flood situation at Ulu Rajang in a helicopter when he saw a giant snake cruising along the river, so he took photographs.

Legend has it that in the ancient times, there was a large serpent called Nabau. One day, the mythical serpent turned into a human being, trying to seduce a warrior’s wife. The warrior caught and sliced the serpent into seven pieces and threw them into the river. The flesh later settled to form seven rocks where the seven rapids are now situated, along the great Rejang River.

What is Ular Nabau?
"Nabau sendiri merupakan ular dengan panjang 30,48 meter dengan kepala naga dan tujuh lubang hidung dalam legenda masyarakat setempat. Legenda Nabau dipercaya bisa mengubah bentuk menjadi beberapa hewan lain."

Now, the latest photo emerged, said to be taken behind Curtin Uni. , Miri.
From the photo, it stated taken 4th Aug 2009.

Heard from my Dad that this ular nabau does exist in Sarawak. If you're a Sarawakian, especially Ibans, ask your old man about this legend. Its very interesting to know =).

Finally a Family

Im a bit ashamed to post these pics (cage with poo poos all over). The thing is, i cleanup their cage, brush and scrub their mat clean, emptied the bowls but look what happen after cleaning.
Less than half day, the cage is full of poo poos. I had to put the mats or else their legs will get trapped into the mesh wire like Shorty B. Mocha (my previous Brown Abys G.Pig) died because of this reason as well (i only know he died with his leg stuck into the mesh wire after realized Mocha did not greet me for 1 whole day *sob sob*)

The mats will save them from getting their feet stuck but in the same time, very unhygienic (cos the poo poos cannot 'flush' out through the holes).

Dont get yucky with their pics. This wad i do every 3 days; scrub and clean the cage! lol.
